
Mining produces three types of mineral commodities (metals, industrial minerals, and fuels) that all countries find essential for maintaining and improving their standards of living. Mining is a strategic industry because it provides critical needs in times of war or national emergency. Neither economy could not function without minerals nor the products made from them. In countries or regions where mining is concentrated, this industry plays an important role in the local economy. Mining faces nowadays major constraints due mainly to the scarcity of resources and its social and environmental impacts. Solving in a balanced way the conflict between positive effects on growth and development and the negative impacts on human being, communities and surrounding environment is the main driving factor towards technological improvement based on research and innovation
The “mechanized face” system will work in certain geologic-mining conditions. However, the analyze of these conditions is not limited to the establishing some concrete values for identified factors of influence, because this values would correspond only for a certain face field and in a certain position of the face line on the surface of this field. Moreover, even in the framework of the same face field, the factors of influence can record variations.
ABSTRACT: The most important impact determined by the applying re-organizing directions is that upon the human entities, due to the fact that one of the conditions imposed in order to turn N.P.C. to profit is to reconsider the number of the company’s employees. According to some studies of the region we can draw the conclusion that the impact of re-organizing the mining industry upon the human element has been mostly negative. In this case the paper proposed to identify a few economic and social consequences of the mining industry re-organization.
Lucrarea de faţă, cu pronunţat caracter interdisciplinar se referă la elucidarea complexului fenomen de interacţiune dintre maşinile miniere de dizlocare şi masivul de roci utile şi/sau sterile. Scopul urmărit fiind acela de a perfecţiona metodele şi tehnicile de proiectare ale maşinilor, de a realiza maşini performante sub aspectul calităţii, productivităţii şi consumurilor energetice.
